Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

And Now Ladies and Gentleman...

And Now Ladies and Gentleman...

To all those weary internet travellers who happened to stumble onto this site, let me welcome you to The Culture Quarter. These will be our stories. We are humbly searching this exciting and scary world, lifting rocks and documenting our findings. As Shakespeare wrote, the world’s a stage and everyone plays a part. What part are you playing? People are doing some amazing things and we want to write about them.

Unlike mainstream media, we are going to focus on the people. To us, the people are powerful agents of change and are just more interesting because they are us. Their dreams are our dreams. Their fears our fears. There is no separation politics. The illusion that we are not together is a powerful one but an illusion none the less. We are all hurtling through space on the same piece of rock. And this rock has become a lot smaller because of the internet. We are more connected now than ever before. Our fates are sealed up together and to ignore that would be to ignore who we really are: human beings in all of our filth and glory. So let’s rise together or fall together, but always be together. Here at The Culture Quarter we want feedback, comments, and if you have an idea for a subject please let us know! Artists, artisans, performers, activists, farmers, brewers, anyone making a difference and walking to their own beat, we want to meet you and tell your story.  So without further ado, I hope you enjoy the show.
